Job Description:

CSO

Core Systems Operations (CSO) is responsible for maintaining system performance and uptime for Aladdin and other critical applications used at BlackRock.  CSO is a fast-paced team operating in a dynamic environment which will provide the right individual with challenging work and the ability to achieve a wide variety of objectives.  We are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who have a strong interest in and aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and proprietary systems. 

CCO

Command Center Operations (CCO) is responsible for the global Command Center which proactively identifies, escalates, communicates and resolves incidents for BlackRock and external clients.  CCO also enhances stability through operationally focused development/automation, structured documentation, reporting and disaster recovery testing. Candidates should have a passion for technical troubleshooting and problem solving with a strong interest in and aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and proprietary systems.  We are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who are adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical teams of the organisation.  A degree is preferred and ideally the candidate will have experience and be able to demonstrate some of the following:

  • Strong organization, data driven and critical thinking skills
  • Database: SQL or Database Administration exposure
  • Operating Systems: An understanding of UNIX, LINUX, Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Networks: Basic concepts of computer networks
