The Operations and Investment Research Support team are seeking an Investment Support Co-ordinator primarily responsible for supporting the Investment teams in Edinburgh through the efficient preparation of Client reporting, investment writing and final preparation of marketing materials. This role will involve working closely with the investment teams as well as the marketing and writing teams in the preparation of external client facing materials. You will also complete tasks such as responding to information requests / queries from clients or other support teams (Distribution, Operations etc.), completing relevant paperwork and updating and maintaining records.

Overview of the Role

The Operations and Investment Research Support team are seeking an Investment Support Co-ordinator primarily responsible for supporting the Investment teams in Edinburgh through the efficient preparation of Client reporting, investment writing and final preparation of marketing materials. This role will involve working closely with the investment teams as well as the marketing and writing teams in the preparation of external client facing materials. You will also complete tasks such as responding to information requests / queries from clients or other support teams (Distribution, Operations etc.), completing relevant paperwork and updating and maintaining records.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head of Operations & Research Support (Edinburgh) and the equities teams based in Edinburgh by the co-ordination of reporting requirements across the portfolios
• Collaborating with the investment writing and marketing teams in distribution to produce regular content to support the marketing of the funds
• Reviewing and proofing marketing materials e.g. DDQ’s, RFPs, etc., ensuring appropriate and clear language is used in accordance with the Janus Henderson literature principles, for product documentation and disclosures
• Ensuring disclosures, i.e. investment objectives and policies, and respective risk disclosures are reflected consistently within product documentation and across like products (where jurisdictional regulations permit)
• Preparation of materials / data for internal / external client meetings
• Responding to regular and ad hoc data requests from the equity / sales and client teams
• Project involvement e.g. system changes, onboarding of new clients

Qualifications and competencies required

• Experience working within/or supporting an investment team
• Strong interest in the investment industry
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, and to function effectively within a team
• Self-motivated
• Strong time management skills
• Strong organizational skills; able to juggle competing demands
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Idea generative to enhance efficiencies
• Proven track record of managing own workload
• Strong IT skills including advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Advanced knowledge of Bloomberg and other market data platforms
• Knowledge of Factset and Morningstar systems an advantage

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:
• Annual Performance Appraisal
• Completion of all assigned Compliance training
