The Fund Proposition team is responsible for the development and management of our range of funds available for investment by customers.
As an investment writer you'll support the production of investment content and communication per the investment communications plan to support the promotion and development of Scottish Widows products. The role holder will also support the firm's customer investment strategy, by working with Propositions and Distribution to understand, prioritise and initiate wider activities relating to the fund range.
You'll work with Proposition and Distribution and where appropriate, external customers / stakeholders to develop investment content to support our fund proposition and feed into and / or support appropriate projects / teams. You'll support the development of the investment marketing plan and promote the fund proposition through investment writing in support of business as usual activities and ad hoc projects as required. This requires knowledge and clear articulation of investment strategy, promotional messages and their alignment to fund / product propositions
You'll work with external fund managers to deliver key messages on production of relevant collateral and ensure clear processes are in place to take and prioritise input from Distribution and other relevant stakeholders, working as required, with other teams in IS&E to consider and co-ordinate responses.
You'll support Investment Up skilling initiatives as required and operate within a defined risk framework, ensuring materials meet customer needs and embracing the principles of TCF and Conduct Risk.
Ideally you will hold a relevant investment qualification, but previous experience within an investment fund management / life & pension company or similar is key.
Marketing / Communications experience
Knowledge of Adviser and / or D2C channels and / or Employers is also desirable.
