Corporate Actions Administrator (Part-time job share) | Edinburgh | Permanent | £highly competitive

Change Recruitment Groups Global Asset Manager is looking to hire a part time Corporate Actions Administrator within their settlements area for their Edinburgh based team on a 3/4 day working pattern. The Settlements Department is made up of five teams. The Corporate Actions team are responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of corporate action events across all markets.

This role is being made available as a job share opportunity. There is flexibility to work 3 or 4 days but the successful candidate must be able to work a Tuesday and a Friday. Candidates should have strong corporate action experience that will enable them to protect clients’ entitlements on all corporate action activity, monitor and file for class actions where appropriate and ensure the accounting system accurately reflects all capital events on the relevant key dates.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Actions Administrator (Part-time job share):

- Analyse information from various sources including Custodian Banks, 3rd party vendors, Company announcements and Fund Managers to ensure all capital events are recorded, and clients’ entitlements are protected at all times
- Monitor and file for class actions, liaising with our Legal Department, Clients Department and Custodians
- Create and manage files within an internal workflow system
- Liaise with Fund Managers and Legal team on CA events requiring investment decisions
- Liaise with accounting departments and Market Data to ensure accurate processing
- Process all capital events through the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all voluntary events are responded to within the Custodians published deadlines
- Undertake project work as required

Background of the Corporate Actions Administrator (Part-time job share):

- Strong Corporate Actions experience gained in Asset Manager or TPA
- Numerate, accurate and flexible with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to prioritise work to very tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- IOC or working towards attaining this (desirable)
