Senior Manager Asset Management RFP
Meraki Talent’s client, a leading Global Asset Management business, is currently seeking a Senior Manager for its sizable RFP team. This is a senior leadership role that will see the successful applicant manage a business unit of twelve staff who are responsible for the production of high-quality RFPs across mainly institutional channels.
The role has arisen at an important time in both the firms and the function evolution. The firm are in the process of transitioning the RFP function from operating on a workflow basis to being aligned by investment strategies. They are also looking to build up the domain expertise of investment content within the RFP Writers to allow them to take some of the strain from the product specialists. The RFP team is also looking at its operational efficiencies, with the firm producing 50-70 RFPs per month they need to ensure these are produced efficiently but without compromising on quality.
For this exciting role, my client is seeking a Senior RFP leader who brings experience within a global asset management environment and who has an accomplished leadership skill set. Strong stakeholder management skills are required for working with the Investment and Client committees on opportunities.
My client would ideally wish this hire to be based predominantly from the Edinburgh office once they return to the office in 2021, but they will also consider strong applicants who wish to split time between Edinburgh and London offices (2 days in Edinburgh).
