The Senior Manager - PPM OPEX Management reports to the Associate Director, Global OPEX Management and is involved in four primary areas: (i) financial reporting, planning & forecasting; (ii) accounting responsibilities; (iii) finance business partnering for the Function VPs; (iv) finance business partnering for the BU OPEX teams. Below are the primary responsibilities of the position:

Financial reporting, Planning and Forecasting Processes
*Lead role in the preparation of the Function annual budget across the organisation.
*Prepare annual budget presentations for the Functions
*Lead the Outlook forecasting process for the Function including presenting results to Senior Function & Finance Leadership.
*Perform month-end closing for the Function including managing all quarterly & annual reporting and explanations to Corporate & external auditors
*Prepare monthly opex review analysis and presentations for the various parts of the Function and hold meetings with the respective leaders to discuss results.
*Continue to develop, enhance and automate the financial reporting, planning and forecasting processes.

Accounting Responsibilities
*Perform month-end closing for the Function including managing all quarterly & annual reporting and explanations to Corporate & external auditors
*.Act as the key liaison for the Function with the respective Finance RTR teams including performing appropriate monthly account reconciliation.

Finance Business Partnering for the Function
*Act as day to day Finance business partner for the Function working collaboratively with the PPM Center of Excellence and all other financial teams.
*Act as a finance resource for financial business cases prepared by the Function, supporting modelling, accounting and reporting activities.

Finance Business Partnering for BU OPEX Teams
*Provide finance business partnering support to the BU OPEX teams with respect to the execution of OPEX management initiatives.
*Act as the Global finance resource for financial business cases prepared by BU OPEX teams.
*Hold budget update meetings with the different BU OPEX teams during the year as appropriate


Education Level:
*Accounting, business, or finance degree essential
Experience/Certifications:
*5+ years of accounting/financial work experience preferred
*Professional accounting certification an advantage
Technical Skills:
*Strong self-directed work ethic required
*Strong project management skills required
*Well established organizational skills required
*Well established problem solving skills required
*Proven track record of presentations to senior/executive management an advantage
*Basic understanding of fundamental accounting concepts required
*Knowledge of/experience with SAP preferred
*Advanced excel knowledge, including the use of pivot tables, etc. preferred
*Professional accounting certification an advantage
