In this role you will be based from one of our Regional offices in either Cardiff or Leeds and work on projects with our business and supporting functions.
You will engineer and deploy cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure using a wide range of technologies and the full range of multi cloud services, working alongside people with a diverse range of skillsets.

Your role
Working within a diverse team across multiple geographies and partnering with Microsoft and Amazon you will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from developing automation, streamlining operational procedures and building out cloud infrastructure consisting of the latest available public cloud services. We are looking for talented AWS and Azure Cloud Engineers to join us on our journey as we expand our service across North and South Europe.

Location: Leeds / Cardiff
Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role will be worked on a full-time basis.

Your professional experience
•Build and deploy infrastructure as code against solution designs using CloudFormation, Terraform and ARM
•Utilisation of CI\\CD tooling such as Azure DevOps and creating pipelines for build and releases
•Using configuration management tooling such as Puppet for image creation and configuration drift prevention
•Utilising cloud native tools for backup, patching, monitoring and security compliance
•Maintain and support the cloud services platform
•Monitor and maintain multiple cloud solutions to meet project requirements
•Respond to incidents and service health issues in line with service level agreements
•Being part of an agile team participating in product backlog refinement and feedback ceremonies
•Part of an on call 24x7 rota

Desired Experience
•Any cloud architect / administrator / developer certification (AWS)
•Proven scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
•Proven experience of microservices and container-based systems (Docker, Kubernetes);
•Windows and/or Linux sysadmin certification (e.g. RHCE);
•Experience of agile project management approaches and product ownership experience (SCRUM, Kanban)
•ITIL experience
•Fundamental knowledge of security best practices in cloud
