We're looking for a talented Senior Digital Performance Analyst to join our growing community of experts and become a key part of one of the biggest and highest-profile digital transformation programmes in the world.
Using fresh ideas and leading edge technologies - and putting the user at the centre of everything we do - we create innovative analytical solutions that make a difference to the lives of our 22 million users.
You will join our brilliant Digital Performance Analytics community, there are around 15 Digital Performance Analysts in the Department at the moment, which is very possibly the largest in-house team of web analysts in the country.
You and your role
We are looking for someone with a strong analytical background and mind-set, who can pick up a range of tools and data sets and 'hit the ground running'.
This role's a leadership one, so you will need to be someone who wants to engage with customers to help them work out what questions they actually want to answer, which aren't necessarily the ones they come to you with.
You will be exceptional in prioritising a portfolio of work and will enthusiastically lead decisions about what tools and techniques the department adopts.
What are we looking for?
- You have extensive experience of Web Analyst or Data Analyst roles
- You are experienced in the use of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, Piwik/Matomo)
- You have experience of a wide range of analytical and data manipulation skills (statistical analysis)
- You have knowledge and experience of 'Big data' tools and techniques (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
- You have a good working knowledge of advanced data visualisation tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
