2019 Graduate Opportunity, Technology: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (COG)- EMEA

Be part of the team responsible for creating and supporting highly available, secure and efficient technology platforms which deliver the needs of our business customers. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer graduate in our technology team, you will learn how infrastructure underpins and supports our organisation and the technologies that provide network connectivity, hosting and database services. Our infrastructure team is dedicated to delivering self-service and automated solutions. Through the program, you'll be exposed to the DevOps tools and processes we use and will be involved in the coding and operational support of these service offerings.

If you're interested in learning about the automation of infrastructure technologies and providing excellent customer service to our businesses, this opportunity will be right for you. You'll be exposed to a number of different technologies, including:
  • Public Cloud (AWS)
  • Cloudformation
  • Scripting languages - Powershell/Python
  • Automation services - Ansible/Puppet
  • DevOps tools - Git, Bamboo and devops pipelines
  • Server virtualisation - VMWare
  • Lunix and Windows Servers
  • Database systems - Oracle, MSSQL and Sybase
  • Cisco network routing and switching
  • Next generation firewall technologies - Palo Alto
