Accountant- Regulatory & Capital

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

* Preparation of quarterly firm specific FCA returns for M&G's FCA regulated entities. Involving the reporting of financial position, performance and capital adequacy.
* Support in the periodic completion of group consolidated Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 returns for submission to the FCA.
* Assist in the preparation of the fixed overhead requirement and monitoring.
* Coordinate collation of data necessary in preparing M&G's counterparty credit and market risk exposures quarterly.
* Preparation of M&G Group's monthly capital reporting MI and Prudential Group reporting.
* Preparation of other financial related regulatory returns on the FCA's GABRIEL system.
* Financial forecasting and risk monitoring for the regulatory consolidation group.
* Participate with the ICAAP process for M&G, assist the regulatory team with key outputs, such as stress and scenario testing, wind-down analysis and Pillar 2 risk identification/ quantification.
* Assist the team with coordinating and facilitating change in line with enhancing controls and process improvements.
* Assist in the preparation of the Pillar 3 public disclosure document.
* Preparation and maintenance of regulatory procedural documents.

What we are looking for:

You will be a qualified accountant with financial reporting experience and working knowledge of accounting standards. As well as this, you will have the ability to lead and drive change forward. It is essential for you to have good planning and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Good communication and presentation skills are a must, as well as a flexible and adaptable approach. You will be capable of building good relationships both internally and externally. Effective problem-solving skills are also required for this role.

You will be able to maintain professional competence and will have good technical ability. Knowledge / experience of regulatory reporting would be preferential but not mandatory.
