The London Branch is seeking a part-qualified Accountant to cover on a temporary basis. The role is to work on local topics as well as interact with the Head Office located in Milan and the Branch Coordination office located in Bucharest.

Functional (role-related responsibilities)


  • Accounts payables: receiving, scanning, processing, verifying and reconciling purchase invoices;
  • Performing accounting checks on Purchase Orders;
  • Reconciliation of all corporate bank accounts, credit card statements and monthly cheque statements;
  • Supporting asset accounting; Capitalisation, depreciation, monthly checks and reconciliations;
  • Reporting monthly analysis on travel expenditure and checking travel expenses processing;
  • Book travel expenses based on expense claims;
  • Supporting and performing monthly/ yearly accounting closing whilst adhering to deadlines;
  • Payroll accounting in collaboration with HR to ensure correct booking of amounts and allocations to cost centres and secondments;
  • Providing accounting reports and analysis for the use of internal and external customers;
  • Running BACS and Swift payments;
  • Collaborating with the S2P technical support team to solve tickets;
  • Adhoc organisational tasks within accounting department;
  • Providing support and back up in general accounting tasks;



Person specification


  • Knowledge of SAP tool;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships across Unicredit Group


  • Undergraduate  degree in Accounting and Finance
  • AAT is desired

Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience in Accounting

Other Requirements:

  • Previous banking experience
  • Italian language skills would be desirable
