Analyst/Associate – GBAM COO / Regulatory Deployment and Remediation

Job Description:
We are seeking a member to join the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Regulatory Deployment Team. The key priorities will be for the member to lead and support regulatory compliance of new and emerging domestic and international regulations. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage with Front Line Units and Support Partners across GBAM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting projects and running work streams on regulatory engagements, including drafting meeting materials and documentation of key decisions agreed, as well as leading discussion on the same where appropriate.
  • Supporting the EMEA Regulatory Reform team on executing various operational/BAU projects, including the deployment of new and emerging regulations
  • Performing gap analysis and business analysis to identify areas of regulatory risk, and managing the end-to-end remediation for regulatory compliance
  • Creating presentation materials, management information (MI), and project status updates for briefing senior management
  • Proactively developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts with the business and support partners across the enterprise. Including working closely with FICC Trading COO and GBAM COO, Legal Partners, Compliance, Business Supervision, Operational Risk etc.
  • Writing business requirement documentation (BRDs) to support the implementation of initiatives
  • Management of SharePoint resources and similar collaboration tools
  • Enhancing and improving processes and procedures to reduce manual intervention
  • Promotion of best practices in project and change management and knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information into messages targeted to various levels of leadership
