We are working with a newly established alternative investment advisory firm who are looking to hire an Analyst into their London team. The firm focuses on providing clients with best-in-class advice on capital formation, liquidity solutions and capital solutions. In this role you will become a generalist working across all three business lines.
The three segments of the business comprise of the Capital Formation team, a global alternative capital raising advisory platform; the Liquidity Solutions team, a global secondaries advisory platform primarily focused on company, portfolio and GP-led liquidity solutions; and finally, the Capital Solutions team, providing institutional equity and co-investment syndication and capital markets services. You will join a global team comprising of 24 experienced professionals with industry-leading experience across the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Development of marketing materials for fundraising, roadshows, AGMs and ad-hoc investor communications
- Support investor due diligence efforts throughout the fundraising period as well as supporting on quarterly reporting
- Contribute across the full investment process as you support the team in reviewing and executing secondary investments
- Support the execution team by taking ownership of the financial modelling and commercial due diligence process and by contributing to the preparation of investment papers for committee
YOUR PROFILE: - Experience working within an investment bank or placement agent
- Technically minded and comfortable understanding financial / performance terminology
- Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong project management skills
- Proficient command of English and demonstrable ability to transform financial performance details into investor-friendly messages
- Good general understanding of the private equity industry, and the desire to work in the private equity space
