Analyst, Business Aligned Compliance

An excellent opportunity for a Business Aligned Compliance Analyst to gain exposure, in a challenging role, with our Risk Management Group - Compliance team, aligned to the Macquarie Capital business, operating group in London.

As a Business Aligned Compliance Analyst you will report to the Head of Compliance for Macquarie Capital, in Europe. This position will offer you an excellent opportunity to further develop your compliance experience in a dynamic, commercial and fast-paced environment. Sitting with the Macquarie Capital business, the role is challenging and requires broad involvement with compliance issues and regular interaction with senior management and executives across Macquarie Capital and the Risk Management Group in Europe.

You will advise on other compliance implications for specific transactions, new products and businesses and be involved in the development and delivery of training across the business. You will be responsible for the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and clearing new business opportunities in respect of potential conflicts of interest across the group. You will develop policies as required, conduct breach and incident reporting, as well as contribute to the wider programme of work for the compliance team in regional and global projects. You will also identify and report regulatory risks and report on key compliance metrics to senior management in Macquarie Capital and to the Risk Management Group.

Experience within the compliance discipline would be an advantage, particularly if you have been part of a graduate recruitment scheme and would like to focus on private side advisory as your next step. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels will be key to your success. You will enjoy working autonomously, can determine priorities and be able to deliver results within deadlines. You will also have a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk and compliance whilst achieving desired outcomes.
