GCRR is part of Group Finance and its primary role is report financial and risk information for Common Reporting (COREP) and Enhanced Capital reporeporting, ad-hoc regulatory submissions and the provision of internal advice and guidance on regulatory reporting. involved in quarterly reporting, data analysis and providing MI Packs to Senior Management. They will also be involved in testing of new system releases and contribute to ad-hoc regulatory data requestsBusiness.rting (ECR) to the PRA/EBA.
The Group Capital Regulatory Reporting team within Group Finance is responsible for:
Producing and analysing the monthly/quarterly COREP, ECR, IRR returns and the Pillar 3 disclosure for the PRA/EBA and contributing to the quarterly Interim Management Statement process and Annual Report. This includes providing insightful, business-led analytical review of the returns to senior management.
Ensuring the Group is prepared for changes in regulatory reporting by leading the implementation of new guidelines and initiatives as dictated by PRA/EBA, working closely with the Regulatory Policy team.
To act as the review and challenge over the regulatory reporting process and numbers to ensure high levels of control are maintained at all times.
Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Reporting Systems, the role covers the following:
Review and/or completion of the COREP and IRR templates for submission to the PRA/EBA.
Provide assistance to the country and business units on the treatment of Capital and RWA
Provide explanation of key variances, trends and preparation/review of commentaries for Capital, Large exposures and RWA.
Assist with ad-hoc queries relating to capital and regulatory reporting
Development and maintenance of controls and the control environment
Maintain a list of system/process/data issues and contribute to Capital Data Quality Forum
Make the lead on BCRS/RAy and Axiom Use Acceptance Testing.
Contribute to the bank's responses on Discussion and Consultation papers and Technical Standards on regulatory developments and changes from the Basel Committee, PRA, EBA and others.
Contribute to regulatory data requests e.g. G-SIB and QIS
Contribute to the development and Implementation of regulatory projects

Establish strong working relationships with the offshore team, technology and the credit risk teams
Liaise with Regulatory reporting Policy on changes to PRA/EBA rules under Basel III/CRD IV
Provide subject matter expertise on COREP/Basel III/CRD IV
Build a strong working relationship with the external auditors and the regulators
Execute under the relevant Operational Risk Framework processes - Group Capital Regulatory Reporting.
Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility - Group Capital Regulatory Reporting and Group Finance.
Execute governance standards as prescribed in applicable compliance and risk frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS - training, licenses, memberships and certifications
* Qualified Accountant with experience in financial services especially in regulatory reporting, particularly COREP and IRR reporting of Capital, RWA, Large Exposures and Leverage reporting
* Experience of financial and management reporting within banking
* Detailed knowledge and experience of Basel III/CRD IV
* Good product know ledge, especially trading book products - preferred
