Analyst II - Lighting and home technologies

As a research analyst for lighting and home technologies the successful candidate will collaborate with lead analysts, supporting the creation of market size and share databases, forecasts, detailed research reports, presentations and bespoke consulting projects. The candidate will assume an increasingly client-facing role as they develop, dealing with client information queries, attending conferences and events and building rewarding relationships and industry reputation

  • Conduct primary and secondary research on lighting products, services, and vendors
  • Expert analytic, logic and quantitative skills
  • Assemble, structure and analyze all data collected, then produce base-year data and forecasts
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with coworkers around the world and able to participate in group interactions with colleagues
  • Produce thought leadership content, and opinion based commentary
  • Gathering data and information directly from companies
  • Carrying our interviews to gather specific information
  • Support the sales team with business development activities
  • Interface with and support clients subscribing to the service
  • Develop business relationships with vendors in the ecosystem including equipment manufacturers and integrators

Qualifications and required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or industry-related fields required
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
  • The ability to present complex concepts and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency with MS applications required (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); experience with databases helpful including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in
