The Fixed Income Associate Portfolio manager will join the Fixed Income Investment team in London and will work on a global platform. To be considered, candidates will be experienced Portfolio Manager's Assistants and will demonstrate expertise knowledge of both rates and credit fixed income markets. This role will utilise your Fixed Income experience implementing strategies, trade construction, risk analysis, account opening and closing reviewing and approving guidelines and managing portfolio transitions to name just a few tasks.
Working in and supporting a small Fixed Income investment team, this role will get heavily involved in front office projects to include markets and portfolio optimisation requiring strong attention to detail with a low tolerance for errors. Front office responsibilities will also include monitoring new deal flows in all fixed income markets, sourcing of bonds and assist in the monitoring of existing holdings for credit-related news or price actions for example.
In this role you will interface with the middle and back office functions as necessary to ensure that trades and corporate actions are processed correctly.
As well as demonstrating a genuine interest and curiosity about fixed income markets, candidates will have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role, will be degree educated , proficient in Excel and Bloomberg and will have either IMC or CFA to be CF30 registered. Knowledge of Python will be a distinct advantage.
