Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - SaaS Service Introduction
In this role, you will be responsible for the Client Infrastructure and Support Implementation Manager will be a client facing role that interacts with client technical service architects to define the client technical architecture and service model and be responsible for the associated delivery of these elements as part of implementing PVAI at a client. This is largely a technical management role, working with the client and PVAI architects to define requirements and handle associated implementation to ensure maximum alignment to the standard product technical and service offering. Responsibilities
As an AVP SaaS Service Introduction your responsibilities include -
- Face out to client technical teams to articulate the standard technical and services aspects of the product.
a. Run workshops to capture client infrastructure requirements, including security, integration, performance, quality, regulatory and operations requirements and SLAs.
b. Work with the client and PVAI Technical Architect to identify the required network connectivity, infrastructure sizing and capacity planning to ensure that all environments and network are appropriately configured and specified to support the client.
c. Lead internal PVAI teams to deliver the required environments and infrastructure. Reviewing relevant work throughout implementation to ensure quality and requirements traceability.
a. Develop and agree a Support Plan with the client, to include identification of required SOP updates, service desk integration model, knowledge transfer plan and service introduction plan.
a. Handle the work to establish the agreed support model, ensuring appropriate resourcing, processes and tools are in place and integrated with Client support personnel in line with agreed support plan.
b. Acquire partner on board for all Infrastructure and Service architecture work.
c. Ensure consistency to all quality management plans and GxP processes as outlined in the QMS and Product Verification plan.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree level.
- Preference for Computer Science / Software Engineering, Biosciences or Management Sciences

- Good experience in an infrastructure and/or IT Service role in an IT services company, SaaS company or the IT organization of a large pharma company.
- Experienced in IT Service Models and defining SLAs (e.g. ITIL)
- Experienced in Managing Infrastructure and Service Projects
- Experienced and comfortable with offshore delivery models.
- Experience of working with clients, understanding challenges, objectives and working through issues.
- Superb communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
