Kingfisher IT Services (KITS) is a group function that sets the standards and ways of working for IT globally. Our vision is to deliver cost effective IT that realises the strategic goals of our business and supports their day to day needs. 

Our 550-strong team operate from sites across Europe - Southampton, Yeovil, Paddington and Finsbury Avenue (London) in the UK, Lille and Longpont in France, Spain, Romania, Poland and Russia.  

The Business Analyst role is primarily to document requirements and processes taking into consideration the business case, business benefits and company needs. You will ct as the interface and translator between the business, the end users and the technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting either business priorities, problem and opportunities into business process and systems solutions which may or may not involve change to computer systems as well as support the business to define and lead the user acceptance testing for a number of significant projects.

Qualifications

We are expecting this person to have strong influencing skills with demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders across IT and the business at varying levels of seniority. Facilitation skills utilising specified methodologies. Practical experience of documenting business processes using specified process methodologies. Knowledge and practical experience of mapping retail business processes. Knowledge of specified structured analysis techniques. IT development experience within a professional IT function, including experience of the full development lifecycle, including project inception and post-live support. Good liaison / relationship building within both Business and Systems functions and with external Suppliers. Ability to challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner and manage conflict resolution to gain consensus on requirements. Working in a complex matrix environment with both internal and 3rd party resources. Knowledge and practical experience of working in a mixed application environment. Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
