Arion Investment Management is a commodity focused investment manager based in London. The company is expanding its team and is looking to add an experienced business development professional.

The nature of the position will focus on the expansion of the investor base focusing on UHNW individuals/Family Offices, specialised institutional investors and wholesale client relationships particularly in the Middle East, Turkey and Eastern Europe.

The successful candidate must have more than a decade of fundraising and commodity experience,  and a strong network of clients and fund distribution platforms across the Middle East and Turkey, as well as the ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of a variety of investment strategies, particularly commodity-focused strategies. 

This is an exciting period in the company’s growth, and this role will put the successful candidate at the forefront of this expansion. In return, the successful candidate will join a growing team in UK and will develop significant responsibilities as the company continues to expand.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Develop and expand existing investor base
• Organise calls and meeting with investors on a regular basis
• Ensure marketing materials are delivered at a high standard
• Ensure CRM system is updated with sales notes
• Attend conferences and industry events

Skillset and Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of fundraising and commodity experience
• Strong network of clients and fund distribution platforms across the Middle East, Turkey and Eastern Europe
• Excellent understanding of a variety of investment strategies, particularly commodity focused strategies.

Location: London, UK

Salary package: GBP 45k-65k
