Business Development Manager Overview: Excellent opportunity for an individual with strong experience of sales to financial institutions and solid knowledge of Corporate Trust to join an established financial organisation. Based in offices in London the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new business revenue, by developing business relationships with intermediaries in London and across the UK.

Overview:

Excellent opportunity for an individual with strong experience of sales to financial institutions and solid knowledge of Corporate Trust to join an established financial organisation. Based in offices in London the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new business revenue, by developing business relationships with intermediaries in London and across the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•Delivering new business revenue to the business in accordance with agreed revenue targets.
•Working with colleagues to ensure on-boarding is completed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
•Providing new business proposals to clients regarding new opportunities.
•Representing the business at external meetings, relevant industry forums, conferences and seminars as required.
•Providing Product, Sector, Competitor and Market information to colleagues.
•Remaining aware of industry developments (technical, legal, regulatory, compliance).
•Contributing to product development initiatives, in relation to product sales and placement, as requested.
•Building/developing strong working relationships with internal colleagues within Trust and related areas/divisions.
•Ensuring a thorough knowledge of relevant products offered by the Company.
•Building and developing Trust Clients across Investment Banks, Investment Managers and Issuers in EMEA region.
•Responding to queries from clients, including RFPs and troubleshooting problems.
•Working closely with internal teams regarding new initiatives, agreeing best sales/distribution options for clients.

 

Qualifications/Experience required:
•Strong understanding of the Structured and Conventional Debt Capital Markets industry, ideally from a Corporate Trust perspective
•A proven track record within a sales environment
•Ability to work using own initiative and to meet tight deadlines
