Our Client is a boutique integrated wealth planning & investment management firm
The Wealth Management firm are looking to grow via the acquisition of a number of IFAs and hope to double in size over the new 12-18 months.
The Business Developer will specifically target professional intermediaries of which they already have strong connections i.e. Solicitors and Accountants who have access to private clients who are interested in Financial and Wealth planning for themselves and their families.
This opportunity offers an open architecture for free reign in a particular UK region – London and the Home Counties, The Midlands and The North.
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for contributing to and communicating the overall business strategy for the firm and its related intermediaries.
To bring in AUM for the firm from the intermediary sector as per the agreed targets. As well as being alert to other market opportunities.
To bring in new business and secure new personal contacts to increase the firm’s market share in accordance with the team’s strategy and plans.
To market the firm to Accountants, Solicitors, IFAs and other intermediaries who may influence buying decisions.
Capable of exploring, researching and creating opportunities in line with relevant market changes.
In order to consolidate relationships, introduce Investment Managers to these key intermediaries.
Business Development Experience in Financial Services/Wealth Management industry.
A strong understanding and network within the professional intermediary sector - Solicitors and Accountants.
Articulate, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and target driven.
Existing Intermediary connections - either London or Regional (Midlands or North)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Highly proficient in MS Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Proven ability of understanding client objectives and strategic intent.
Up to date knowledge of regulatory and legal factors pertaining to investments and account relationships, activities and or management of these client relationships.
Detail focused and capable of maintain accurate records of all meetings. Prior use of a CRM system would be advantageous.
