Support the Senior Business Manager in executing Business Management and Chief Operating Office activity

Overview:

Our AFC team is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Business Manager in executing Business Management/Chief Operatinf Office (COO) activity
  • Assisting hiring managers in relation to hiring requests (workday assistance, tracking approval progress etc.)
  • Assisting with collating and consolidating fortnightly/monthly tasks, reaching out for feedback from extremely large stakeholder group/multiple countries
  • Assisting with driving transparency of headcount trends/spend trends
  • Resolving Business Management related issues promptly/accurately
  • Working with the communications team on the "People Agenda"
  • Assisting with delivering COO guidance to UK and Ireland (UKI) and Europe, the Middle Eash and Africa (EMEA) Know You Client (KYC) community via clear and timely communications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in working in a Technology or Operations COO/Business Management Team managing headcount and budget a significant advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A clear critical thinker used to working to stringent deadlines and commitments
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in line with business requirements at the time
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
