Business Support Analyst - Real Assets - London

The Role

Our Real Assets team are currently looking to hire a permanent Business Support Analyst. This is a new role reporting directly to the Business Management Director and you will be supporting the Real Assets Senior Leadership Team to coordinate, manage and implement the key business initiatives, projects and commercial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Business Management Director and Business Manager to help with key business objectives.
  • Providing high quality quantitative data for forecasts, strategy documents, research, analysis & presentations.
  • Undertaking analytical support that assists business planning.
  • Preparation of reports and committee papers
  • Co-ordination of various meetings, minute taking and monitoring delivery of actions
  • Supporting Real Assets communication to the teams (messaging, event…).
  • Coordination of BAU projects impacting Real Assets
  • Collaborating with the transformation team on larger projects which impact Real Assets

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in a similar role within financial services would be ideal but a willingness to learn and core skills are more important
  • Good communication and influencing abilities
  • Ability to juggle different priorities and a hands on approach
  • Strong numerical skills (i.e. able to spot issues with numbers at high level - timing, costs, profit level).
  • A true interest in Real Assets investment.
  • Experience with managing and coordinating projects
  • Open and interested in international work/ environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and potentially project management software.
  • Ability to identify key issues/ bottlenecks in projects in a busy environment and raise this with appropriate solutions
  • Great team player
