Role Description:

The EMEA Head of TS Technical Implementations will be a key part of the Global Technical Implementations Team, and will partner closely with the other regional leads to deliver on the Mission and Vision:

Mission: To enhance global client satisfaction and experience through seamless implementation of treasury solutions using robust tools and proven methodology, expert consultation, and client advocacy.

The EMEA Technical Implementations Head will lead a large team responsible to onboarding TS products leveraging file transmissions for new and existing clients. This team is an integral part of the client experience, and as such works closely with the sales, service, and implementations teams that cover these CIB clients. The incumbent will also partner closely with other internal teams such as product, connectivity, operations and technology to provide clients with a high quality implementation experience.

Team Summary:

    • Technical scoping, project management and consultancy to support the smooth onboarding of global clients onto JPM solutions
    • Support and guidance on the optimal testing approach, including for 'reporting and reconciliation' and problem resolution through testing process
    • Ownership with technical problem resolution and with go/no-go decisions at each key implementation phase
    • Coordinate Production 'penny/testing', and monitoring 'volume ramp'
    • Support for the full test lifecycle, testing sign-off, promotion to production and 'penny testing'.
    • Assistance with resolution of technical issues
The incumbent will provide leadership in setting and executing strategy for the EMEA Technical team, as well as integrating Global strategic initiatives into the regional strategy. Included in the regional strategy will be staffing requirements and planning, expense management, staff development and training, and risk and control oversight and enforcement.

This position reports to the Global Head of Technical Implementations.

Key Performance Objectives:
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the team of Implementation Project managers
  • Provide support and guidance to the team
  • Perform appraisal process, create meaningful development plans and play a key training and coaching role
  • Serve as a point of escalation for the team to ensure timely resolution of issues, including ensuring any identified changes in policy and procedures are communicated to appropriate support areas
  • Leverage QSA Team to perform inspections/audits of completed implementations to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Regularly review and analyse team metrics to drive process improvement, reduce cycle time and increase client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Implementations, and Product Management Partners to:
    • Provide responses to Client RFPs with regards to any Technical Implementation / Transmission related queries.
    • Attend regular meetings share and receive feedback (metrics, Client surveys etc.), gain a clear idea of sales strategy and pipeline
    • Facilitate open communication about issues that impact the client experience and periodically review performance against agreed Product SLAs.
    • Establish the on-boarding process of new products and services and amend processes to incorporate mandated industry changes
    • Escalate client issues, product/process gaps, etc to the leadership teams and partner to execute resolution action plans

  • Understanding of the risk and control agenda and the commitment to maintain and enforce it
