The Global Proposal Solutions Group supports multiple J.P. Morgan businesses such as::International Banking-CB; Treasury Services (TS); Global Corporate Bank (GCB) and Merchant Services (MS). Products that we cover include: treasury services which are recognized as market leaders offering payment, liquidity, and trade services and advice to clients around the world. We are a recognized global market leader and a full-service provider of innovative cash management, liquidity merchant services and trade solutions in the industry.

Position:

To qualify, candidates must have Treasury Services experience preferably with RFP knowledge.

This role is for a global proposal writer in the EMEA Proposal Team in London to support sales activity by generating customized, compelling and persuasive sales proposals in response to RFP/RFI requests from prospective and existing clients within the International Banking-CB, FI, NBFI and Corporate Segments.

The role will include:

  • Project managing and controlling the bid process, working with other proposal team members, where applicable, and engaging senior management, Sales Managers & subject matter experts to collaborate in the writing and customising of proposals
  • Ensuring that the proposals are of a high quality and correctly reflect the products and services of J.P. Morgan
  • Assisting the Sales Manager with the compilation of the Executive Summary and Solution Summary relevant to the bid
  • Incorporating all information into a presentable, professional, and competitive proposal
  • Developing an understanding of the proposed solution to complete projects
  • Seeking and coordinating timely input from relevant subject matter experts
  • Ensuring responsiveness to all the client's/prospect's stated requirements/questions
  • Preparing, maintaining and managing the proposal project plan and issues list outlining all project deliverables, milestones and resources
  • Generating the initial draft using content database and other sources
  • Conducting regular review meetings to ensure adherence to action items and target dates by all participants
  • Coordinating with subject matter experts and the knowledge manager to update the central knowledge base as responses are created, developed and enhanced
  • Providing feedback and advice on modifications of Treasury Services products to product management
  • Leading and reporting upon internal initiatives in order to improve the current process
  • Responsible for timely escalation of any issues
  • Liaising with Marketing to ensure consistent formatting of all proposals is in line with the global branding guidelines
  • Adhering to all J.P. Morgan Departmental policies and procedures

Training:

Attend meetings and appropriate bank training as required to continue development and to enhance knowledge of cash management products globally

Performance measurement criteria: Performance measurement based on pre-agreed objectives, and overall team success.

Experience and Skills: To qualify, candidates must have Treasury Services experience preferably with RFP knowledge.
In addition it is expected that potential employees will have a combination of skills and experience that include:
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • BA/BS degree required or relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent desktop publishing skills, including a strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and other MS-Office applications.
