CIB F&BM - DPS Instrumentation & Metrics Unit Costing Manager - Executive Director
F&BM I&M Unit Costing collaborates with partners to understand business needs and work towards the standardization, automation and creation of Product offerings unit rates design and build capabilities to review and elevate the way we provide financial & business information and insights. Our teams core responsibilities include the creation of Product Production costs through unit rates, annually planning and allocations and monthly actual allocations, Deal Pricing and Cost to Serve modeling. These core responsibilities are inclusive of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting on Firmwide Allocations utilizing Treasury Services (TS) Products and Monthly reconciliations of Client Profitability reporting and Product P&Ls across both TS And Securities Services Businesses.
The Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Instrumentation & Metrics (IM) Unit Costing group within the DPS P&A and Portfolio & Governance department partners with Product Management, Product Finance, DPS F&BM , Pricing and Strategy teams to build scalable, end-to-end solutions that optimize the use of financial and Business data to create business insights to assist in decision making decision on investments, identify and measure productivity, advance platform capabilities & efficiency, deal pricing and client profitability through a suite of reporting tools.

The team is closely engaged with Financial Infrastructure enhancements which is directly aligned to Costing Target state vision. The team scope and coverage includes $3.5 Billion of Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) - Digital and Platform Services (DPS) Operations, Technology and Product 3rd Party Vendor expenses supporting over fifty (50) Banking/Treasury Services, Securities Services and Markets Line of Businesses (LOBs). Our team also coordinates with Firmwide Line of Business Finance and Business (F&BM) Finance leads which includes, Commercial Bank, Asset Wealth Mgmt. (AWM), Consumer and Community (CCB).

The EMEA Costing Manager is responsible for building creative, often time sensitive solutions that are the foundations of new and strategic capabilities and analytics we are looking to adapt and implement. The role also requires the management of the teams "Business as Usual "BAU" Production support within DPS F&BM and to our Business Partners strategic tools and Processes.
Perform Unit Costing analytics and problem-solving for CIB Technology and Operations for Securities Services, Markets and Banking Products. The successful candidate will work with finance and business colleagues to develop deeper insight into the drivers of the business and bring significant, Operational, Technology and 3rd party vendor information to the forefront when explaining unit costing results. In addition, the candidate will also be able to influence the strategic direction for Unit Costing team and output as a whole, with focus on automation, scalability and product coverage expansion.
More specifically, this role requires the candidate to:
Join a team responsible for delivering financial tools and analytics within an end-to-end solutions effort with a focus on best-in-class products and services
Responsible for managing a team across Regions to facilitate costing agenda, priorities for production work efforts and Costing strategy / agenda.
Represent Unit Costing function and partner with key Line of Business and CFO clients with demonstrated professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are met and understood by our business partners
Define and drive unit cost models based on close partnership with Product, Operations and Finance Management team.
Prioritize and coordinate Funds Services Cost to Serve (CTS) Deal Pricing requests from Product and Pricing teams.
Promote deeper understanding of the Business by producing thoughtful and rigorous performance analysis through unit costing / unit rates
Present qualitative/quantitative costing analysis, finding and recommendations to Senior Management
Ensure flexible and consistent unit costing approach and methodology within the unit costing group
Participate in Governance working groups across Operations, Technology, Finance and Business Partners
Ensure Product / Pricing activities are in place to effectively manage end to end processes
Serve as point of contact for various ad-hoc requests across CIB products for unit costing inquiries.
Ability to work collaboratively in teams across various areas of the firm and strong interpersonal skills

BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
Finance professional solid financial services experience
