This is an exciting role in a leading Global Hedge Fund. Working in an empowering environment on the design and implementation of C++ software components critical to latency sensitive aspects of the trading lifecycle and integrating these components into the broader front to back trading stack.

Desired skills include but are not limited to:

•            C++ fundamentals and modern C++ programming principles 

•            Data structures and algorithms within the Standard Template Library (STL)

•            Class and class hierarchy design using runtime and compile-time polymorphism

•            Best practices for resource management (both memory and other resources)

•            Space/time complexity and optimisation of application performance

•            Design and implementation of thread-aware components within concurrent applications

•            Business knowledge of Cash Equities and/or Derivatives
