Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

  • Investigating and resolution of unallocated receipts, failed trades, FOP transactions in relation to client money
  • Complete and review the daily client money reconciliations
  • Complete and review of monthly Client Money and Asset Return
  • Update, maintain and periodical review of the CASS resolution pack
  • Liaise with compliance, Internal Audit and external Auditors on CASS related matters
  • Update and manage of the internal CASS breaches log

 
Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

  • Good knowledge of the FCA’s CASS rule book, especially CASS 7 and CASS 6
  • Previous experience of client money in operations department
  • Knowledge of life cycle of financial products, cash flows and corporate actions is a plus but not essential
  • Must have strong communication skills to clearly articulate issues and ideas, provide timely escalation
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows across multiple business types required
  • Demonstration of strong organisational and project management skills required
  • Good interpersonal skills to build strong relationship with key stakeholders within and outside of Operations essential
  • Good influencing skills to work with the Operations team in challenging the status quo and continuously enhancing the control environment required
