My client is one the most well established Fintech firms in the world and specialises in building sophisticated Analytics products which are used within financial services mainly for risk based decisions.

Market-leading global Fintech firm require a Change Manager to support a portfolio of Innovation programmes. My client is one the most well established Fintech firms in the world and specialises in building sophisticated Analytics products which are used within financial services mainly for risk based decisions. They are embarking on an ambitious portfolio of innovation programmes which will leverage the latest technologies in the Analytics space i.e. AI, Machine Learning etc. The Change Manager will be responsible for supporting the portfolio of complex & innovative projects, with the goal of delivering breakthrough change across the function.  This role is critical to the success of the function’s ability to enable significant growth & productivity improvements, working across multi-disciplinary & multi-geographic elements.

 

Key responsibilities will include;

 

  • You will define and implement change and communication plans that are tailored to the needs of the existing programme, enabling the successful adoption of new ways of working
  • Develop a mechanism that support our desire to create an innovative culture – engaging across the organisation for idea generation for new operational improvements/additional innovative opportunities
  • Develop business change plans within programme/projects (which should be integrated with broader project plans)
  • Proactively monitor overall progress of business change plans, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as necessary
  • Effectively identify and manage senior stakeholders in the interests of business change delivery, communicating progress proactively
  • Identification of business change resource requirements within projects/programme & across relevant teams to deliver the business change plan
  • Manage the business change risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies both within the project/programme and with projects in the wider business portfolio
  • Present business change initiatives/plans to the appropriate Boards as required for steer and approval
  • Ensure alignment of business change plans across projects to prevent overload/change fatigue etc
  • Create and present business cases in conjunction with the Project/Programme Manager (costs and benefits)

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience;

 

  • Extensive experience of change management best practice and methodologies
  • Successful delivery of change management either in a similar (e.g. FTSE 100/Software) organisation or across multiple clients in a top tier consulting organisation
  • Experience in successful delivery of large scale organisational change, particularly on improvement programmes involving changes to people, processes, and technology
  • Solid understanding of people change management theory
  • Practical examples of translating change impacts into workable change plans and delivering those change plans to achieve organisational benefits
  • Ability to work with programme teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
