Client Fund Accountant

I'm partnered with a globally established, leading provider of fund services who're looking for a fund accountant to join them in a client facing role due to recent and anticipated growth. 

You'll be managing the relationships with multiple clients, providing oversight of fund and SPV accounting prepared by an offshore team, whilst also proactively seeking to build and improve the fund services function. 

This role sits in the Fund Services team with a focus focus on Real Estate, you'll also be exposed to Private Equity and other asset classes with the business looking to include Venture Capital and Hedge funds to their client list.

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with clients and co-ordinate on deliverables 
• Work proactively on and review reports from the offshore team, this will include fund and SPV accounting, annual financial statements, management accounts for SPVs and closed ended fund clients
• Manage the relationship with the auditors 
• Owning and build the relationship with the clients, working towards becoming their point of call 

Requirements 

• A part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) 
• Possess the desire to provide excellent client services 
• Ideally, have some prior funds experience with a focus on Real Estate 
• Be able to prioritise in order to meet deadlines and work proactively manage workload
