Client Onboarding Manager - Asset Management

My client is a well-known Asset Manager who are currently seeking an onboarding professional who has strong relationships with service providers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary contact for managing day to day queries with service providers (Fund Administrators, Depositary Bank and AIFM
  • Coordinate the onboarding of all new mandates and establishment of new fund structures
  • Assist with the coordination of ISDA/CSA documentation
  • Responding to tax queries, initiating tax reclaims with external tax advisors and ensuring resolution on behalf of clients
  • Provide operational support to Portfolio Manager(s)
  • Point of contact with clients to ensure the prompt resolution of any operational and reporting issues they might have with external service providers and internal teams
  • KYC documentation coordinator

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years working for an asset management firm.
  • Onboarding experience
  • Experience working with ISDA/CSA documentation is desirable
  • Understanding of Solvency II
  • Nimble and flexible to balance multiple tasks concurrently with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Candidate must have the desire and ability to take initiative on tasks and responsibilities
  • Collaborative and able to effectively communicate within lean investment teams as well as able to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excels in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project desirable
