We are working with a leading alternative asset manager operating on a global basis with a decades-long track record of investment excellence across private equity, real assets, as well as private and public credit.

The company has grown rapidly over the past decade, more than doubling assets under management and people, and continues to cement its position as an innovator and a leader in alternative asset management.

The Marketing and Client Relations team has responsibility for raising assets and maintaining relationships with investors, and it is looking to take on a Client Relations Manager to be a product specialist dedicated to the firm's Private Debt strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acting as the product specialist for the firm's Private Debt strategies, building an understanding of these and the underlying markets and communicating this to the global team
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the sales team and to prospective investors/consultants, as well as building relationships with existing investors
  • Manage fundraising cycles, i.e. preparation of high-quality marketing materials such as standard fund overview presentation decks, PPMs, RFPs and DDQs for client proposals and meetings
  • Utilisation of key fund and market level statistics to develop the market positioning of the strategies / product range and communicate findings both verbally and in written marketing materials
  • Organising investor update calls and producing / organising the annual AGMs for the strategies
  • Line manager responsibility for a small team of analysts and associates, providing support, training and helping them develop their careers
  • Leading ongoing projects to enhance reporting and processes on the team, including but not limited to automation and data quality improvement
  • Project managing the fundraise process, including monitoring of the investor pipeline and communicating this to senior management
  • Ensuring that marketing materials meet compliance requirements

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Extensive experience with a strong academic background
  • A sound understanding of the private markets, ideally with prior exposure to either Private Debt or Private Equity
  • Commercially and financially literate, demonstrating strong numerical and oral communication skills; excellent written and presentation skills
  • Demonstration of an exceptional level of attention to detail
  • Able to interact with senior management and clients
  • A team player with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Pro-active, confident, and self-motivated; ability to problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing a small team advantageous
