An exciting entry-level opportunity to join our Client Relationship Team, which is currently comprised of the Head of Client Relations, two Client Relationship Executives and two Client Relationship Assistants.

Our London based Client Relationship Team is responsible for managing the firm's relationships with our institutional clients located throughout the EMEA region. The overall goal of the team is to be responsive, accurate, and expedient to ensure a high calibre of service and relationship management is provided.

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

An exciting entry-level opportunity to join our Client Relationship Team, which is currently comprised of the Head of Client Relations, two Client Relationship Executives and two Client Relationship Assistants.

This role will be an additional headcount to the team. The purpose of the role is to support and assist with the overall Client Relationship Team operations. The main focus will be on production and delivery of client's investment reporting and supporting the day-to-day administrative aspects of the team's workload, including preparation and planning for client meetings and investment team roadshows. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. It is a full time position working from the firm's London office, but with significant interaction across NAM teams and offices globally.

Overview of General Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly and quarterly client reports
  • Timely and succinct communications with NAM offices globally to ensure reports and information used in reports is delivered accurately and to deadlines
  • Production of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules
  • Proof reading and sense checking of reports
  • Timely issuance of reports and other documentation to client deadlines
  • Maintenance of Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, including distribution lists and client/mandate details
  • Co-ordinating responses to client audit requests
  • Assist with responses to client queries and resolving problems or questions posed by clients and/or their consultants.
  • Support the preparation and logistics for fund manager investment trips
  • Production of presentation materials for client review meetings
  • Processing of daily client cash flow notifications
  • General support to the Head of Client Relations and other senior team members

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally a minimum of 12 months experience within the investment management industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Effective at building strong working relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deal with multiple tasks
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrable willingness to learn and build industry and investment knowledge
  • PC literate; will be expected to produce client presentations in Powerpoint. Excel skills would also be an advantage
  • Ideally some experience of CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
  • Willingness to take the IMC exam
