A reputable asset manager is looking for a French-speaking client service manager to to join their Client Experience team. The opportunity is to join a global, successful asset manager with a large variety of investment products. They have a brilliant, collaborative working culture, and the London office is a prestigious office for them, with a mature and supportive culture. Strong conversational/fluent French and native/fluent English language skills are a requirement for this role.

This will be a broad client servicing role, working with a global client base across institutional and wholesale client channels. The role will sit in the London office, working directly with key global stakeholders across Distribution, core functions and leadership functions. 

Key Responsibilities:

The client servicing officer coordinates the various internal and external stakeholders in order to:

  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales teams as well as with the Core teams (legal, risk, operations, etc.) 
  • Handle and monitor client requests
  • Manage client onboarding including KYC/ KYD due diligences and set up of Client commitments
  • Ensure that client commitments are monitored over the entire client relationship, regardless of the nature of the commitment (mandatory, contractual or non-binding).
  • Participate at validating distribution and Investment Management agreements relating to international distribution.
  • Improve and develop relevant tools to increase knowledge of our clients (CRM in particular) as well as product display (e.g. updating fund platforms, database of data providers).
  • Be a driving force in making proposals to develop the services and solutions set up for our clients.
  • Contribute and drive the client satisfaction and more generally the client experience.

Qualifications

  • Relevant client servicing experience within another asset manager (5+ years)
  • Global institutional client experience
  • Strong conversational/fluent French and native/fluent English language skills are a requirement for this role
  • The candidate has a higher education background and has initial experience in an equivalent position in an international organization.
  • The candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work in a team environment with tight deadlines in an international team.
  • He/she has the ability to set up strong and confident relationships with the Sales and Distribution teams around the world.
  • The candidate has knowledge in the field of asset management and has an appetite for operational and regulatory aspects.
  • The candidate has a sense of priorities and a taste for challenges and is oriented towards problem solving and the implementation of solutions. 
  • Fluent English language skills required
