Client Solutions Associate - Global Client Solutions - London

The Relationship Management Team delivers a proactive and quality service to Business Development Directors (BDDS's), Wealth Management, Adviser and Third Party Distribution clients to promote, retain and generate new business into the Onshore and SICAV Collective Investment Fund Range.

The aim of the Relationship Management Team is to:

  • Provide a proactive support to the UK Wholesale Sales team in order to maximise the sale of collectives investment products;
  • Provide a proactive support to wider Aviva sales force focusing on CI sales
  • Build deep and enduring relationships with key investment intermediaries (Discretionary Asset Managers, Third Party Distributors/Fund Platforms and Advisers).

Responsibilities

  • Working within the Relationship Management Team to provide key administrative support.
  • To work closely with other members of the Relationship Management Team to increase investment and product knowledge.
  • Provide a proactive support to the Sales team in order to maximise the sale of collectives investment products;
  • Provide a support platform that will enable our BDDs to maximise promotional and sales opportunities within the collectives market.
  • To actively promote business relationships through telephone support, external visits and e-commerce strategies.
  • Managing operational relationship between Discretionary, Third Party and Platform Clients and Aviva/SICAV Operations and Dealing Teams
  • Proactively creating and interpreting technical fund information to assist BDDs in promoting Aviva Investors Funds.
  • Deputise in the absence of Business Development Managers during client meetings with Fund Managers.
  • To work closely with and support Sales and Marketing to co-ordinate and organise sales or training events (lunches, seminars, presentations & conferences) and ensure all required materials are collated and available.
  • Proactively follow-up product campaigns, seminars and conferences to support the attainment of new business targets.
  • Production of regular sales and activity MI using in-house and external IT solutions.
  • Maintenance of CRM system
  • Ensure fair treatment of customers in line with TCF principles is defined and embedded into all activities of self and team.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Industry awareness and good technical knowledge of collective investments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively within team a environment
  • Proficiency in excel/database management and report production
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook etc)
  • Effective organisation and communication skills

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Experience of delivering an agreed set of targets and objectives
  • Basic Industry awareness
  • Ability to resolve issues in a customer focused manner

Desirable:

  • Experience of operating in an asset management retail environment.
  • IMC - Investment Management Certificate (or working towards)
  • Experience of operating in an asset management retail environment.
