Commodities and Global Markets, Futures Business Solutions Analyst
Are you a detailed, analytical, excel whizz, looking for a role that will give you in-depth knowledge of an evolving Futures business that is expanding into new markets? This is the role for you. As a junior member of this expert business solutions team, you will work with the key stakeholders of the business in the region and globally to deliver Operational Support and Project Management activities to the Clearing business within the Futures Division of out Commodities and Global Markets division. You will apply a commercial approach and build relationships at all levels that will allow you to work and interact with a wide range of areas and operational issues.
Whilst industry experience is useful, the role is open to you if you have strong analytical abilities and a aspire to build a career in Financial Services. You will enjoy problem-solving and using excellent communication skills alongside applying methodical, diligent approach and prioritisation of daily key tasks. The London Business Solutions team is a small team responsible for:
- Creation and maintenance of multiple levels of static data within Macquarie Systems including customer accounts, exchange contracts and fee/commission static;
- Delivery of projects related to business as usual activities and business process innovation.
To thrive in this role, you will have
- An inquisitive mindset and ability to problem solve.
- Experience with process improvements and activities to identify, explore and solve root cause process issues.
- Attention to detail when under time pressure.
Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple work streams. Strong communication, presentation and written skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at various levels.
