Compliance Analyst - 12 month contract

What is the Global Compliance group responsible for?

Working across 19 countries our Global Compliance oversee the compliance framework for the firm, they ensure every company meets its licence requirements, give advice, monitor and assist the business in new projects, work through any problems and manage the relationship with regulators. As Compliance Analyst you will be working directly for the CCO International providing diary management, team administration and assisting in local projects.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Compliance Analyst?

  • Manages VP of Global Compliance's calendar, keeping on top of changes and working across multiple time zones
  • Prepare presentations for the VP and wider team
  • Manage the teams administration; holiday calendars, closing off registers (reporting and check status), provides analysis on ongoing projects
  • Manage the expenses process for the team, including logging these through our internal Expenses Management tool and reconciliation of expenses against the company AMEX cards
  • Book hotels, flights and transfers for international travel, including producing itineraries and organising any required Visas
  • Conduct supervised research on behalf of and summarise results for CCO International
  • Co-ordinate internal and external meetings which will include booking venues, reserving meeting rooms, setting up conference call facilities and organising catering/other resources
  • Supports the company's efforts to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, as set by the regulators for our industry


Qualifications
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
  • Higher education required (e.g. A Levels, Bachelor's degree)
  • Experience utilizing MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access & Project)
  • Ideally experience of using Archer or a similar programme
  • Prior administrative experience in a professional environment, ideally within a Financial Services firm
  • Exposure to a compliance function would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to reconcile and organise data
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Highly organised combined with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
