Our client, a growing banking organisation in London is looking to recruit an experienced business analyst with strong compliance experience to join on a permanent basis.

Compliance Change - Business Analyst


The incumbent is required to support the Risk Control Governance Framework change Programme. The main purpose of this role is to document the process flows and checklists for all functions for the financial crime initiative and complete the gap analysis and document the future state.


The role holder at this level will be expected to perform key tasks such as the following:

  1. Lead the process improvement across all impacted areas. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Clarify scope, requirements and business objectives for all workstreams
  • Complete current state assessment, gap analysis and document future state
  • Complete analysis & design and requirements gathering phase
  • Creation of efficient process flows and business model for the revised financial crime procedures
  • Creation of checklists for all new policies and procedures
  • Support the MI Reporting Metrics and Training workstreams with the creation and reviewing of training material and MI prototypes


  • You will need to show:
    • Proven work experience within financial services;
    • A sound understanding of existing regulation;
    • Ability to understand legal and regulatory texts
    • Core understanding of retail banking, global markets and trade finance businesses
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
    • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively;
    • Strong report writing and record keeping ability;
    • Excellent presentation skills;
    • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels;
    • Attention to detail and a well-organised approach to work;
    • The ability to prioritise work and to work well under pressure;
    • Strong data analytical skills
    • A diplomatic approach and the confidence to provide support to Senior Management and EXCO members;
