About our client
Our client, a well-established private equity fund with a focus on the emerging markets space is currently looking to hire a Compliance Manger to join their London office. The fund has over ten years' experience investing across the space as prides itself on its sustainable and impactful investment strategy. As a business they are currently performing very well and are forecasting a growth phase, making it an exciting time to join the team.

What the job involves
As the Compliance Manager you will play a pivotal role within the operations team. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working very closely with the funds experienced COO, covering a very generalist compliance remit for the fund with plenty of autonomy available. The firm currently has multiple compliance processes in place, however there is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and progressive individual to come in and put their own stamp on the function, making change where they see fit. There is a clear career path mapped out for this position within the fund, with realistic opportunity to become the Head of Compliance in the short to medium term.

• Regulatory compliance and controls across the business
• Process management including KYC and AML
• Financial crime prevention
• Advisory, systems and project support
• Monitoring and risk based programmes
• Compliance training and development for the business
• Ad-hoc operational and legal support for the COO

Who we are looking for

• Previous generalist compliance experience within a regulated environment
• Knowledge of the private equity or venture capital space would be advantageous
• Good time management to take on a broad range of tasks
• Progressive attitude and a desire to grow
