Primary Responsibilities
Corporate Treasury desk strategies group has an open position in London. The group provides analytic support for Corporate Treasury globally and is a part of the MSSM (Morgan Stanley Strats and Modeling) organization. Main areas of focus are: long-term debt issuance and hedging, liquidity management, contingent funding plan, regulatory liquidity reporting, hedge accounting, structured notes issuance, and support of Corporate Treasury trading. An ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in financial industry as a desk strategist or a market modeler.



Qualifications:


Skills required (essential)
- Experience in a similar role in the industry is required.
- Phd/Master's degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics and Physics with a strong interest in using computer science methods and algorithms to apply in financial markets.
- Strong programming skills. At minimum, this position requires programming in Scala, C++ or KDB/Q
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
