We are responsible for leading the company's strategy and governance for risk management, maintaining relationships with regulators and supervisory institutions worldwide, and promoting a positive bank culture where risk is always top of mind.

You will handle the counterparty risk on a portfolio of EMEA based hedge funds. The position offers a high level of collaboration with various sale and trading teams as well as interfacing directly with clients.

What will your main responsibilities involve?

  • Performing due diligence of fund clients
  • Preparation of written analysis substantiating recourse value of counterparty
  • Proposing risk based limits based on assigned internal counterparty rating
  • Review of potential exposures using VaR, scenario, and other risk based metrics
  • Negotiation of standard industry documentation
  • Leading ad hoc portfolio reviews

What skills and qualifications will you ideally possess?
  • Prior experience with hedge fund counterparty risk is critical
  • Basic knowledge of markets and hedge fund products (derivatives, repo, prime brokerage, etc.)
  • Quantitative understanding is helpful
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to contribute positively in a rapidly changing environment
