Responsibilities include
Identifying major risk factors by country and investigating any trends that may affect existing business.
To provide analysis of the sovereign risk with a focus on the Emerging Markets (Middle East, Turkey, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa).
Gain a strong understanding of sovereign / country / individual credit risks.
Prepare Country Reports and recommendations to Management on exposure and lending strategy.
Provide guidance to the business on credit and emerging market country risk matters including responding to credit opinion requests.
Experience Required:
A proven track record of country and sovereign risk analysis both in EMEA and emerging markets
Excellent credit experience gained in a bank, rating agency or other financial institution
Knowledge of rating agency methodology
Language skills beneficial (Russian) but not essential
