Credit Risk Business Analyst

A leading Investment Bank in London require an experienced Business analyst to join their Risk, Finance and Treasury team to work on the BCBS 239 programme. Working between the business and technology teams this individual is expected to have a strong technical background (Data modelling, analysis etc.) along with exceptional stakeholder management skills.

A leading Investment Bank in London require an experienced Business analyst to join their Risk, Finance and Treasury team to work on the BCBS 239 programme. Working between the business and technology teams this individual is expected to have a strong technical background (Data modelling, analysis etc.) along with exceptional stakeholder management skills.

5+ years' experience required within Risk change, ideally working on regularly projects with full exposure to the SDLC is the minimum requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Working with the business to determine and document clear and concise business/functional requirements through meetings/workshops for Credit Risk modelling methodologies.
* Liaise with the Design authority and IT teams firm-wide to ensure that all new components fit within guiding principles.
* Follow good processes and practices, as defined by the team standards; ensuring that documentation is complete, comprehensive and signed off.
* Review documentation and provide feedback for components that are being implemented on the project.
* Participate in the testing cycle and own the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design clarifications.

Essential Skills

* Understanding of data concepts and being able to perform data analysis using SQL Server/Excel
* Experience in delivering projects using the agile methodology.
* Knowledge and understanding of Client Grading, and risk methodologies and sanctioning
* Sourcing data for risk and finance projects.
