My client a leading investment bank with operations all over the globe, is currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis in their offices in London. You’ll be joining a Brexit programme, to address there operating model and strategy response to the UK’s departure from the EU.

My client a leading investment bank with operations all over the globe, is currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis in their offices in London. You’ll be joining a Brexit programme, to address there operating model and strategy response to the UK’s departure from the EU.

 

Skills

  • The successful candidate will have a keen interest in financial markets and Retail Credit Risk concepts from both a function and technical perspective
  • Understanding of Retail Credit Risk metrics and/ or experience in a risk management role or other control function
  • Understanding/ experience of risk model management (e.g. validation and approvals)
  • Understanding of Retail Credit Risk regulation pertaining to Advanced model approval and Standardised methodologies
  • Good written and verbal skills, a strong governance and challenge mentality and good attention to detail
  • Degree in Finance, Maths, Sciences, Engineering or Economics or substantial directly related experience
  • Competency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
  • Advanced in Excel

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ability to interpret and articulate regulatory rules and requirements
  • Ensure controls are in place for model changes relating to Retail Credit Risk, co-ordinate any required model change submissions and communicate changes to management and regulators
  • Face off to one or many business areas SMEs to understand high level requirements and challenge where necessary
  • Work independently to elicit, validate and document business requirements and input into solution design where necessary
  • Product requirements and design proposals to Design Authority with supporting documentation
  • Define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation
