Description of Role and Key Responsibilities You will be working in a highly motivated agile, cross functional team. This is a vertical team that has full ownership of their domain.

Each member is responsible for their area of specialisation, as well as all aspects of application development from interacting with stakeholders and users, to design, development and deployment, through to production monitoring and support.

The functional support analyst will answer queries from our Lending Operations team, Intermediary team and internal users; resolve issues and incidents and continuously improve processes to establish operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

•Support all users of Horizon for any changes to Products within the system
•Ensure the systems are supporting the business needs
•Seek continuous improvement and identification of system weakness
•Provide 1st and 2nd line support for the mortgage core banking system Horizon (direct support of external customers is not included).
•Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all the interfaces ‘from and to’ the above system
•Perform daily checks and monitoring of Horizon
•Working with the team to ensure appropriate cover is available during the team support hours
•Adhere to the banks change, incident and Infosec controls and processes
•Ensure the production environment is supported by up-to-date and accurate documentation
•Contribute to the professional testing processes and practices throughout the team
•Work with team to review requirements/design documents to understand deliverables
•Create innovative test cases that will identify issues before the release of product deliverables
•Execute manual test cases to ensure high-level quality assurance testing
•Highlighting and reporting defects and owning them until resolution is complete
•Collaborate closely with our Developers & third party suppliers to resolve issues and ultimately produce quality software are for our clients
•Document and add test information into local WIKI
•Participate in team and project meetings
•Proactively make decisions to improve testing processes and efficiency

Core Skills and Attributes

Essential skills:

•Experience using the DPR platform

Desirable Skills:

•experience working in Banking – Operations or Client Servicing
•Reasonable to strong business knowledge of lending
•Previous testing experience
•Business analysis experience
•IT qualifications
