We Offer This Data Manager role sits within the Data Management team in London which is responsible for all Data related matters for Credit Suisse (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will have the chance to join a highly driven and collaborative team in the UK, and work closely with international teams in several locations including Switzerland and Singapore.

Key responsibilities:
  • Work as part of an international project team to deliver a critical Change programme looking to upgrade key platforms and processes.
  • Help drive the design and implementation of new Client and Product Data Models in the UK.
  • Identify, prioritize and address data challenges and key data issues in CS UK.
  • Partner with IT to ensure that data requirements and controls for the critical data are considered by the solution designs.
  • Contribution on the implementation and adoption of the group and divisional framework.
  • Collaborate with wider local and international team in managing a number of different initiatives.

  • Experience to drive and manage change in an organization, across functions and locations, business and IT, front to back.
  • Experience in data engineering (architecture, modelling, analysis, design).
  • Experience in Business process design and data lineage.
  • Experience in usage of data management tools (Business objects modelling, data lineage, data quality tools). Ability to articulate requirements related to tools and procedures to support the defined framework.
  • Knowledge of data protection (and privacy) legislation, standard methodology and an appreciation of the demands of the organization in managing such legislation.
  • Proven experience in Project Management.
  • Detailed understanding of the value chain of a Private Bank and business drivers that impact data processing, with the interest and ability to deep dive into details.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent attention to details.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter and able to work on own initiative.
