In this role you will be a pivotal part of our Finance Ambition Change Programme by supporting the transition and introduction of a new Oracle Financial Accounting Cloud solution.

Knowledge & Experience:

To ensure your success in this role you have experience or skill in:
  • Manage the day to day Data Migration track activities related to Oracle Fusion Implementation for both TS1 /2
  • Identify, incorporate and manage the data migration track detailed plans and deliverables
  • Work with the functional streams to establish the data migration requirements, scope and validation / recon approach,.
  • Work with N&G IT & Delivery partner ( and any other 3rd parties ) to agree the data migration ETL approach
  • Create an inventory of data migration objects, their scope and sequence of load including validations / reconciliation and timing to feed into test cycle preparation activity and cutover planning
  • Support appropriate governance and controls put in place for go-live transition plan including go-live readiness checkpoints and setting up a command centre
  • Collate evidence of data migration, validations and reconciliations to satisfy audit requirements
  • Manage data migration track Risks, Issues and dependencies across teams
  • Support the stabilisation period working closely with stabilisation command centre and BAU to ensure any data migration exceptions are addressed
  • Perform Weekly progress status reporting to programme and Support teams

We expect a candidate to also have:
  • A high level understanding of M&G's strategy, our key products and distribution methods
  • Strong project management skills and experience of dealing with complexity on large scale systems implementations and enhancements
  • Confident in communicating to senior executives (verbal and written) - strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive self-starter who takes ownership, and has a strong track record for service transition and delivery
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular MS Project and MS Excel experience
  • Data Migration track experience in industry and Oracle Cloud implementations

Other Capabilities:
  • Strong hands-on expertise in transition planning and reporting
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, able to process and present information in a structured format to meet demanding timescales, and present in a clear unambiguous way
  • Knowledge of life and pension industry and its products, markets and competitors
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks
