Role Purpose

The data sales executive will be responsible for the full sales cycle across Vanda’s data products. The role will require lead sourcing and engagement all the way through to closing and onboarding new clients to Vanda’s data.

The role will work alongside multiple functions including; marketing, research sales and research, in order to build and maintain a pipeline for Vanda’s data.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients by utilizing your established network in the financial services market, outbound marketing, networking and other direct marketing methods
  • Present Vanda’s retail data platform and ensure target prospects are engaged
  • Negotiate and close contracts with new clients
  • Actively manage a pipeline to ensure monthly targets are met
  • Update the CRM system with all activities and report weekly to management

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets
  • Proactive self-motivator with a desire to succeed
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building a client base
  • Understanding of financial markets is preferred
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Experience executing lead generation plans
