My client a Top Tier Consulting Firm who are a leader in transaction advisory are developing a new team and function around value creation and operational due diligence. They are seeking a Director with a strategy background to develop thesis and POVs through rapid fire assessments to identify opportunities and provide clients with an array of value creation opportunities underpinned by advanced data science and industry insights in a short time frame. They are looking for individuals ideally with a strategy consulting background that can dis aggregate a business, think top down and identify value chains, companies and transformation levers.
This team is a cross functional (commercial, operational and digital), agile capability group that will help the firm generate revenue from broader deal value creation opportunities
They are seeking an experience deal strategy and value creation practitioner, with a deep spike in any of commercial, operations or digital value creation to play a key role in building this team by leading both the i) internal capability build-out as well as ii) leading day-today delivery of projects and setting up post-deal opportunities for other areas of the firm to deliver.
- Strategy Consulting experience (doesn’t have to be BIG 4 or strat house) mid tier firms will also be considered
- Experience or exposure to the deal lifecycle and understands how synergies need to be identified and value needs to be created in a pre deal scenario
- Structure and methodical thinking; part of the interview process will be a case study and candidates are expected to demonstrate how they approach situations with limited information/ambiguity
